There are two different ways you can share video-content in the Spatial.chat
YouTube video sharing
By default, every user of Spatial.Chat can share YouTube videos via the Sharing icon at the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
For the below example we used the following video [9:56 Hours] Train Journey to the Norwegian Arctic Circle, WINTER [1080HD] SlowTV
Sound amplifies as you get closer to the video and quieten when you move away from it. Try this out.
The user who has shared the video can control
- playback
- sound
- playback speed
- quality
through the standard YouTube player.
Other users are not able to interact with the player.
They can only mute the sound locally.
The video will be removed for everyone in the room. Please note, that only the person who shared the video can remove it.
If the user, who has shared the video left the room, the video will disappear accordingly.
Live video sharing
This function is currently unavailable on mobile devices
Please note that live video sharing available only for administrators.

Live video is mostly used as background music or for keynote presentations. Even the admin doesn't have control over the video. Other users can't interact with the video as well.
You can embed YouTube, Twitch or Vimeo video.
For the below YouTube Live example, we used the following video lofi hip hop radio - beats to relax/study to
For the below Twitch Live example, we used the following twitch account https://www.twitch.tv/llydiaaa
You can embed the standard YouTube video, but compared to the method covered above, you don't have any control over the YouTube player. Moreover, the video will loop by the end of the playback.
You can pin as many videos per room as you like
By default the sound is proximity-based, but the admin can change the sound setting to room-wide. Other users will hear the sound disregarding their position in the room.
Users can turn off the sound for the live video locally as well.
